Day Itinerary Layout
09:00 AM – Pickup & Drive to Materuni Village
Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Enjoy a short, scenic 30-minute drive up the fertile slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to the authentic Chagga village of Materuni.
09:45 AM – Hike to Materuni Waterfall
Begin a beautiful 40-minute walk through local farms where bananas, avocados, and coffee are grown. Your guide will explain the local ecosystem and Chagga heritage. Arrive at the breathtaking Materuni Waterfall—the tallest waterfall in the Kilimanjaro region—where you can take stunning photos and enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool mountain water.
12:30 PM – Authentic Traditional Chagga Lunch
